Uber Off-Campus software engineer 2024 Hiring Details:

About the role:

You will be part of the team that builds UberEats storefront screen. As an android Engineer, you will build clear visual and spoken guidance systems to help users navigate stores smoothly and select items to order. Contributes to the designs, develops, and maintains user interfaces and features for mobile applications (Android), leveraging the support and guidance of others on the team.

You'll be responsible for core shopping functionalities in UberEats app including the storefront screen. You'll be working with PMs, Designers, Data Scientists, and other engineers to build new features and improve the experience for our users.

Minimum qualifications:

• Strong experience in either Kotlin and/or Java

• 1+ years of professional experience building in mobile consumer-facing features

• Experience with writing, releasing, and maintaining mobile code

• Experience analyzing a feature in production using analytics and experiments

• Experience efficiently collaborating on projects

• Experiences with mapping or navigation solutions

Technical skills:

Preferred:

• Cross-platform (iOS and Android)

• Comfortable to work with Kotlin and Java
