What we want: We are looking for talented engineers with strong foundations who can learn and pick up new tools on the fly. We want you to share our passion for developing products that will help change the landscape for fintech in India. You would be working with the latest web technologies to build new features, improve the performance and reliability of existing features, and improve our development processes as we scale our company.

Responsibilities:

• Solve complex problems and mentor Junior Developers, Freshers and Interns in the team for following good coding practices and complying with existing quality standard.
• Provide technical guidance in planning and executing assigned projects
• Develop new systems and maintain and modify existing systems when required
• Analyze project requirements and accordingly provide technical and functional recommendations
• Evaluate existing engineering processes and recommend improvements
• Recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reliability
• Perform system failure analysis and provide corrective actions
• Setup high-quality standards in production running code by performing diligent code reviews and rigorous unit test coverage
• Ensure high availability of backend services including implementation of auto-recovery procedures in collaboration with DevOps teams
• Identify proof-of-concept or stand-alone tasks and assign them to suitable interns

Experience Required:

• You are a fast learner with a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience of object-oriented programming languages like C++ & Write code with clean modularisation
• Mastery with data structures & core libraries, as well as familiarity with both STL & Boost. Knowledge of Linux and Git
• Familiarity with Agile development, continuous integration, and modern testing methodologies. Solve complicated problems such as handling 10K concurrent requests
• Determine the best programming language for a given problem statement
• Understand the internal working of external services during the integration
• Author high-quality technical documents that can be clearly understood by technical associates and fellow engineers
• Assess open source libraries that can best fit the solution
• Write high performing database queries even at scale
• Think out-of-the-box while solving problems considering the scale and changing environment variables. Quickly learn and contribute to changing technical stack

Qualifications Required:

• Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Strong understanding of end-to-end architectures and development frameworks; knowledge across tiers in a multi-tier cloud environment including load balancers, web servers, application containers, data stores, and distributed caches
