Eventhq Backend Engineer

Eventhq Off-Campus backend software engineer 2024 Hiring Details:

We are looking for a qualified Backend developer to join our Engineering team. Previous product company experience is a must, and B2B SaaS experience would be preferred.

Experience Required: 18 to 30 months Salary: 15 LPA to 21 LPA (excluding ESOP). There will be no negotiations. (15 LPA for 18 months exp to 21 LPA for 30 months exp, and proportionate to the number of months of experience within this range)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Express and NodeJs
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality

Qualifications

• Experience in web development using Express and Node.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with building RESTful API's
• Experience with working in PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices
• Experience with Jest frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge in NestJS framework is an added advantage
• Knowledge on Typescript is an added advantage
• Knowledge on Azure is an added advantage
• Experience on Redis is an added advantage
