Visa is hiring a Staff Software Engineer– Python, React, Bigdata, Cloud, GenAI in IN - Bengaluru.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of work experience and a Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of experience with a PhD. 1+ year of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and/or Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka) is a plus
- Expertise in one or more programming languages Python(preferred) or Java
- Hands-on experience in software engineering with strong coding skills
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals and data structures
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JAVA and relevant AI libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Experience with full-stack development platforms, including SQL, VS Code, REST, XML, JSON, APIs
- Strong experience developing front-end (React,HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end services
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming APIs
- Demonstrated use of Generative AI in development and testing workflows
- Experience with LLMs and frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph
- Hands-on experience in machine learning, deep learning or reinforcement learning
- Working knowledge of Linux fundamentals and system concepts (CPU, memory, storage, networking)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and/or Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka) is a plus
- AWS experience with managed streaming or big-data services such as AWS MSK (Kafka) and/or EMR (preferred), plus cloud fundamentals (networking, IAM/security, observability).
