Manager, Engineering – Cloud Infrastructure Automation

Tekion is hiring a Manager, Engineering – Cloud Infrastructure Automation in Bangalore HQ.

JOB INTRODUCTION You will lead a high-impact Cloud Infrastructure Automation & SRE team within Cloud Engineering, focusing on building and operating secure, reliable, scalable, resilient & self-serve infrastructure platforms for all Tekion. In close partnership with our Cloud Security, Product Security, and Application teams, you’ll play a vital role in establishing and enforcing security best practices and automation-first principles across all layers of our cloud environments. KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent practical experience.

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles, with at least 2+ years in technical leadership or management.

• Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).

• Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices, cloud-native IAM, network security, secrets management, and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.).

• Proven experience driving operational reliability with SRE methodologies: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-incident analysis.

• Track record of building and developing high-performing infrastructure or SRE teams.

• Strong background in automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and system architecture at scale.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
