PayPal is hiring a Sr Software engineer in Bangalore.

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong full-stack development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance applications and services.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and modern application architecture.
• Experience with payment processing, FinTech, or financial-services technology is preferred.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, data structures, and algorithms skills.

Additional Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable full-stack solutions across frontend and backend systems.
• Develop backend services using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Build modern user experiences using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Optimize applications and services to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
