Job Overview

Come join Intuit as a data/backend engineer in the Modernize analytics platform to work with amazing data analysts, system architects and data scientists that deliver insights and models that directly affect hundreds of thousands of our customers. In this role you will be building next gen analytics capabilities that scale the needs of data analytics teams around experimentation platforms, Gen AI driven applications, and deliver creative integrations that help us leverage best in class vendor solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience

• Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.

• Strong OOD and SOA principles, with ability to implement them in a language of choice.

• Strong development experience in cloud native reactive applications in Java

• Strong development experience with REST API based microservices development.

• Experience with test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing.

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Skills:

• Practical experience in developing applications using microservices, container technologies, container management systems such as Kubernetes, Docker etc.

• Prior experience with Java, Spring-boot, Rest API development

• Prior experience with building data pipelines.

• Prior working experience on building and deploying services on Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Develop, Automate, Deploy, and operate enterprise quality cloud-native software using a microservice architecture through agile development practices.

• Hands-on development. Write high quality code with focus on TDD (test driven development).

• Prepare and present technology demos at meetings to show progress and solicit team direction.

• Self-starter, organized, willing to learn and solve things on their own.

• Ability to work with global teams across time zones.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, complex technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility.
