Adobe is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in Bangalore.
Adobe Content Intelligence assists marketers and creators in grasping what drives the success of their work. Our group develops the models and pipelines that process images, video, email, and paid social ads — then link those signals to campaign outcomes. This effort fuels insights, suggestions, and agent tools employed throughout Adobe's products today. We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to compose and build the models and pipelines behind creative understanding — vision, video, and language. You'll train and improve models yourself, own delivery of significant pieces of the system
Responsibilities
You'll take a well-defined but genuinely hard ML problem—a modality, a pipeline stage, or a modeling approach—and own it from building through training, deployment, and iteration. You will exercise independent judgment on the methods and techniques you use to reach the goal.
- Build and train models for creative understanding across vision, video, and language
- Build labels and features from LLMs, subject-matter experts, and user activity data
- Deliver pipelines for ingestion, featurization, training, versioning, and inference at scale
- Validate models with offline benchmarks and online A/B tests before release
- Operate production ML on Spark, Kubernetes, and GPU/CPU environments
You'll collaborate with product managers, research scientists, and engineers at Adobe. Your ML work will link to customer value, such as performance insights, brand-aware recommendations, and agent workflow context. You'll develop relationships across teams, including those outside your immediate group. As your role expands, you'll mentor junior engineers.
What you need to succeed
You have a Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD and 2+ years — or equivalent depth of impact. You have shipped ML models to production and can point to results that made a difference for a product or business.
- Strong Python and PyTorch for model development and deployment
- Experience in deep learning involving vision, video, NLP, or generative AI (LLM/VLM fine-tuning, embeddings, or RAG)
- End-to-end ML systems: feature engineering, training pipelines, inference, and production monitoring
- Distributed data processing and cloud platforms (Spark, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Clear communication with cross-functional partners on ML trade-offs and technical direction
You're comfortable taking a significant, well-scoped problem and running with it independently, with light day-to-day direction. Experience with recommendation systems or marketing and creative content platforms is a plus.
