Computer Scientist - Java, Microservices, Agentic AI

Adobe is hiring a Computer Scientist - Java, Microservices, Agentic AI in Bangalore.

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java programming, object-oriented principles, and experience with modern development practices. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications, ensuring that the code is efficient, scalable, and maintainable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and other related technologies.

• Build and integrate AI-powered features into enterprise applications

• Develop and deploy intelligent agents (task automation, conversational agents, decision-making systems)

• Work with LLMs (Large Language Models) and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face)

• Integrate AI services with Java-based systems using REST APIs and messaging queues

• Build and deploy RESTful APIs and ensure the performance, scalability, and security of services.

• Work with Spring Cloud to implement distributed system patterns such as circuit breakers, service discovery, and API gateways.

• Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of microservices.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience as a Java Developer, specifically with building microservices.

• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot for building Java-based microservices applications.

• Experience with Spring Cloud components for microservices architecture.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, development, and integration.

• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

• Solid understanding of distributed systems, including service discovery, API gateway, circuit breakers, and fault tolerance.

• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and their integration with microservices.

• Version control experience using Git or similar systems.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to team discussions, design, and development.
