Cloud Engineer 3 - Python, SQL

Adobe is hiring a Cloud Engineer 3 - Python, SQL in Bangalore.

As a Cloud Automation Finops Engineer , you will help build automation, tooling, and data-driven solutions that improve cloud cost efficiency, resource utilization, and cost visibility across AWS and Azure. You will work closely with senior engineers and partner teams — to support FinOps and cloud optimization initiatives, gaining hands-on experience while growing your technical depth and impact.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance automation scripts, services, and data pipelines supporting cloud cost optimization and FinOps use cases.
• Analyze cloud usage and cost data to help identify optimization opportunities and support data-driven decisions.
• Partner closely with engineering, platform, and teams to align on requirements and drive shared cost-optimization initiatives across regions.
• Innovate using AI to identify new cost optimization opportunities and detect spend and data anomalies.
• Write and maintain clear user documentation to support information exchange and onboarding.

Skills

• Python and foundational software development practices.
• SQL and basic data querying and analysis.
• Git and collaborative development workflows; Docker and containerized development concepts.
• AWS and/or Azure, with exposure to infrastructure and resource management.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) is a plus.

Experience & Background

• 4+ years experience in development experience in software engineering, cloud automation, or tooling.
• Hands-on AWS or Azure cloud exposure
• Interest in cloud cost efficiency, performance optimization, and FinOps concepts.

Collaboration & Communication

• Communicates technical thinking clearly across distributed, cross-regional teams, including counterparts in US.
• Comfortable working async and adjusting for time-zone overlap to keep initiatives moving.
• Shows initiative while knowing when to seek guidance; open to feedback.
